Project description

About this remodel

This Southlake bathroom was built around a small arched alcove shower with a curtain, beige square tile, patterned wallpaper, and a brown stone-look floor. The layout was tight and the finishes felt tired, so the room needed more than a cosmetic refresh. The new shower is a more open walk-in design with white tile laid vertically in a stacked pattern against dark grout. This draws the eye upward and makes the ceiling feel higher. A penny-tile floor and matching niche add texture, and a linear drain keeps the floor clean and level. Brushed gold shower fixtures carry through to the faucet, mirror frame, and vanity light. A black-and-white geometric tile floor gives the room its personality, balanced by a deep charcoal accent wall. A floating wood-tone vanity with an integrated white sink keeps the floor visible and the room feeling open. A rounded gold-framed mirror, a three-globe vanity light, recessed lighting, and a new exhaust fan complete the room.

Result

The finished bathroom looks fresh and deliberate. The vertical tile, the open shower, and the floating vanity make a compact space feel larger. The bold floor and dark wall keep the white tile from feeling plain, and the gold finishes add warmth. The new fan and updated lighting improve everyday comfort.

Scope

Full bathroom renovation, demolition of the existing alcove shower and finishes, new walk-in shower with linear drain and niche, wall and floor tile installation, glass shower panel, plumbing for the new shower system, new vanity and mirror, lighting and exhaust fan updates, wall painting, finish work.

Materials

White ceramic tile laid vertically with dark grout, penny-tile shower floor and niche, black-and-white geometric floor tile, brushed gold shower fixtures and faucet, clear glass panel, floating wood-tone vanity with integrated white sink, gold-framed mirror.

Worked with Jackont Remodeling to remove a wall combining two bedrooms and flooring/paint in two additional. They were very professional, fair, and knowledgeable recognizing several things other contractors who had bids didn't mention while still being similar or lower on price. We are very happy with the results and even used them and subs they knew to do some other work needed at the house. I recommend this company.

We had a vision for our bathroom, but what we ended up with was even better than we pictured. The entire space feels fresh, open, and incredibly well put together. Everyone on the team was respectful, easy to work with, and took real pride in what they were building. You can tell the quality isn’t just in the big things—it’s in all the little finishing touches too. Every guest who has seen it asks who did the work, and for good reason. Thank you !!!!!!!

Walking into this bathroom now feels like stepping into a completely different home. The design, the craftsmanship, and the attention to the small details made all the difference. Nothing felt rushed, and you could tell they genuinely cared about the final result. The entire experience was smooth, communication was easy, and the finished space speaks for itself. This is one of those projects that makes you wonder why you didn’t do it years ago.

Highly recommend this remodeling company! The owner is very knowledgeable, professional, and very detailed throughout my kitchen water damage repair and rebuild. Aari helped communicate with my insurance adjuster, handled the demo process smoothly, and provided a clear rebuild plan from start to finish. The entire experience was much less stressful because of their communication and attention to detail. Very satisfied with the work and customer service and would recommend them.

We finally decided to install artificial grass and honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades we’ve done to our home. Our yard went from dry and patchy to looking green and perfect every single day. Ari, the project manager at jackont Remodeling, handled everything from start to finish. He made the process easy, kept things moving, and made sure the final result looked clean and natural — not that fake plastic look we were worried about. Now the kids can play outside, we don’t worry about watering, and the yard always looks maintained. Totally worth it, and we’re really happy we went with jackont Remodeling.
