Project description

About this remodel

This Colleyville shower was taken down to the studs and rebuilt from the ground up. Before any tile went in, the walls and shower floor were prepared with a waterproofing membrane, including the curb, so the shower is protected where it matters most. The finished shower uses large-format marble-look tile on the walls, with soft gray veining that gives the look of natural stone without the upkeep. A black hexagon mosaic covers the floor, adding contrast and better footing underfoot. A built-in corner bench and a recessed niche with metal trim give you a place to sit and a place to keep products off the floor. The existing window stays in the shower and brings in natural light. A frameless sliding glass door on a brushed nickel rail replaces the old enclosure and opens the shower to the rest of the room. The brushed nickel finish carries through to the handheld shower, the controls, and the door pull.

Result

The finished shower feels bright, clean, and open. The large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, the bench and niche make the space more practical, and the sliding door saves the floor space a swinging door would need. The marble-look walls and dark hex floor give the bathroom a polished, modern look.

Scope

Shower demolition, wall and floor preparation, waterproofing membrane application, curb construction, large-format wall tile installation, hexagon mosaic floor tile, built-in bench, recessed niche, shower valve and handheld fixture installation, frameless sliding glass door, finish work.

Materials

Large-format marble-look wall tile, black hexagon mosaic floor tile, waterproofing membrane, brushed nickel handheld shower and controls, frameless clear glass sliding door with brushed nickel hardware, metal niche trim.

Worked with Jackont Remodeling to remove a wall combining two bedrooms and flooring/paint in two additional. They were very professional, fair, and knowledgeable recognizing several things other contractors who had bids didn't mention while still being similar or lower on price. We are very happy with the results and even used them and subs they knew to do some other work needed at the house. I recommend this company.

We had a vision for our bathroom, but what we ended up with was even better than we pictured. The entire space feels fresh, open, and incredibly well put together. Everyone on the team was respectful, easy to work with, and took real pride in what they were building. You can tell the quality isn’t just in the big things—it’s in all the little finishing touches too. Every guest who has seen it asks who did the work, and for good reason. Thank you !!!!!!!

Walking into this bathroom now feels like stepping into a completely different home. The design, the craftsmanship, and the attention to the small details made all the difference. Nothing felt rushed, and you could tell they genuinely cared about the final result. The entire experience was smooth, communication was easy, and the finished space speaks for itself. This is one of those projects that makes you wonder why you didn’t do it years ago.

Highly recommend this remodeling company! The owner is very knowledgeable, professional, and very detailed throughout my kitchen water damage repair and rebuild. Aari helped communicate with my insurance adjuster, handled the demo process smoothly, and provided a clear rebuild plan from start to finish. The entire experience was much less stressful because of their communication and attention to detail. Very satisfied with the work and customer service and would recommend them.

We finally decided to install artificial grass and honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades we’ve done to our home. Our yard went from dry and patchy to looking green and perfect every single day. Ari, the project manager at jackont Remodeling, handled everything from start to finish. He made the process easy, kept things moving, and made sure the final result looked clean and natural — not that fake plastic look we were worried about. Now the kids can play outside, we don’t worry about watering, and the yard always looks maintained. Totally worth it, and we’re really happy we went with jackont Remodeling.
